Title: Study of two key problems of blind image restoration
Authors: HUANG Liqing, XIA Yousheng
PP: 454-470
Abstract: Effectively estimating the size of blur kernel and identifying its type are two key issues of blind image restoration. In order to solve them, a feature line detection-based algorithm for estimating the size of blur kernel and a dictionary learning-based algorithm for identifying the type of blur kernel are proposed in this paper for the first time, respectively. The feature line detection mainly includes logarithmic normalized feature matrix of blurred images, binary transform of feature matrix, and feature line statistical rules. Dictionary learning includes logarithmic normalized feature matrix of observed images and training library images, the calculation of structural similarity index, determining the best structural similarity between observed images and dictionary images. Experimental results show that the two proposed algorithms are very effective. Furthermore, an application to blind image restoration shows that the two proposed algorithms are useful and necessary.

Title: Study on thermal analysis and investigation for transmission line Balun in project application
Authors: ZHENG Yunfeng
PP: 434-441
Abstract: In this paper, based on the combination of theoretical analysis and experimental verification, the phenomena and causes of heat dissipation in the application of high-power Balun in the process of equipment operation are described. According to the theoretical analysis, how to effectively reduce the heat dissipation of Balun and the feasibility of the method are verified by theory and experiments. The purpose of this paper is to control and reduce the aging and damage of the device caused by heat, which finally lead to the decline of the whole product performance and reliability. It is proved by theory and experiments that the ferrite core with high permeability and low conductivity can be used to effectively control the operating temperature of the high-power Balun. Although the reduction of winding turns increases the insertion loss of Balun, it can still work in a reasonable temperature range, which guarantees the reliability of the product. Experimental results showed that the working temperature of high power improved Balun was significantly lower than that before. So this method solved the heat dissipation of Balun when working in high-power occasions and kept product in good reliability.

PP: 427-433
Abstract: In order to improve the precision of standing long jump test, and meet the actual demand, this test system uses infrared distance measurement and system on a programmable chip (SOPC) technology. With field programmable gate array (FPGA) as the hardware carrier, Verilog HDL language and C language as design and development languages, nRF905 wireless transceiver module based on serial peripheral interface (SPI) module designer of Nios II soft core CPU is responsible for transferring the point to point communication of the test part and control part, then the measured data is transferred to the host computer for processing and display as well as stored in the database. In testing process, the upper computer determines the identity of the participants through the data in database, controls test ends of the selected balkline, and delimits the scope of infrared test. The error of the measured result is ±1 cm, and it is more intelligent and wireless.

The frequency doubling value can be set in real time through a variety of interfaces, and the phase-locked phase of the output square wave signal can be preset to 0° or 90°. The DPLL is an all-digital phase-locked loop based on complex programmable logic device (CPLD). It consists of a high-precision counter module, a 32-bit divider module, a multiple frequency signal generator, a signal divider, a phase measurement module, a phase compensation module, a counting compensation module and an interface control module. The entire digital system can load the full algorithm on a CPLD chip, the CPLD chip is customized into a DPLL chip to facilitate the DPLL to be used in a variety of circuits.

Title: Face recognition using improved sparse representation
Authors: WU Pei, ZOU Chengming, ZHAO Guanghui
PP: 412-420
Abstract: As an effective classification method, sparse representation (SR) has been successfully used in the field of face recognition. However, the solution of l^1 norm in SR is complicated and costs a lot of time. To solve this problem, this paper proposes an improved SR method based on neighbor samples and Split Bregman algorithm for face recognition. First, principal component analysis (PCA) is used to reduce the dimensionality of all images. Then, a method of solving least squares through singular value decomposition (SVD) is used to solve l^2 norm. According to the least squares, the neighbors of the original samples can be solved. Next, based on the neighbor samples, the Split Bregman iterative algorithm is used to solve l^1 norm. Thus, the final SR can be obtained. Finally, the result of face recognition can be obtained through classification. A series of experiments have been done through the proposed algorithm in different face recognition datasets, ORL, CMU PIE and AR respectively. The results show that the proposed algorithm is robust. Besides, the effectiveness of the proposed method is faster than that of the traditional sparse representation based classification (SRC) and K nearest neighbor sparse representation based classification (KNN-SRC) algorithm.

Authors: WANG Xinyi, YANG Zhenghong, ZHANG Weiwei, NIU Shaozhang
PP: 404-411
Abstract: In order to compare and analyze the blind detection speed and matching points when the image has been tampered with copy-move and subsequent modified (blur, rotate, scale) by the two feature algorithms, scale-invariant feature transform (SIFT) and speeded up robust features (SURF) algorithm. Photoshop and other image processing software are used to tamper image, then the two algorithms are used to carry out experimental research. Results showed that the detection rate of SURT algorithm is 3 to 7 times faster than that of SIFT algorithm, and the detetion effect is also better than the SIFT algorithm after the image is tampered with blur. But the detection accuracy is not as good as the SIFT algorithm when the image is tampered with scaling and rotation after copy-move. Therefore, in accordance with the requirements of accuracy and real-time under practical situations, the appropriate algorithm is selected to detdct.

Authors: LI Changlong, HU Yumei
PP: 387-393
Abstract: The operating principle of a tensioner of engine front end accessory drive (EFEAD) system is studied in this paper. Based on structure theory analysis, an implicit quadratic equation with one unknown is derived to indicate the relationship between the load and rotational angle, so as to establish a simplified theoretical model. Then a simplified finite element model is built to conduct a transient analysis. The simulation results show a good agreement with the experimental data. The new model also gives an apparent improvement to the computational efficiency. The simplified model can be used to the EFEAD system to conduct a finite element analysis.

PP: 381-386
Abstract: This paper proposed an efficient and timely stain detection algorithm for biodegradable disposable cutlery. The dynamic threshold was adopted to extract the defect points, and quartering which segments the image by iterating several times was used to find the densest area of the defect point, so as to decide whether the stain was apparent or not, and then the plate was labeled by whether being qualified or not according to the result. The experimental results show that the correct detection rate of the algorithm is up to 96%, which meets the basic needs of production.

PP: 356-364
Abstract: Objectively, cloud administrators have both technical means and monetary motivation to misuse privileges to control and steal users’ data in the cloud platform. It is challenging to divide the least privileges, real-time control and post-audit cloud administrators’ operations. This paper firstly performs several attacks on the cloud platform to demonstrate that malicious cloud administrators can take advantage of privileges to steal users’ data. Secondly, this paper summaries the main technical approaches of recent researches: cloud administrators’ privileges division and run-time permissions control. Finally, this paper designs and implements a cloud platform privileges control and audit system to improve the applicability of cloud platform management privilege division and cloud platform runtime privilege verification.
