PP: 1058~1066
Abstract: The design of time hopping (TH) sequences is very important in ultra wide band (UWB) communication system. In this paper, through the in depth analysis of key indicators of reed solomon (RS)codes, a multiple access method using RS code for TH sequence is presented. UWB system, modulated by pulse position modulation (PPM) and pulse amplitude modulation (PAM), instead of using random TH by using RS codes, was simulated on the platform of Matlab. Through computer simulation, high system capacity of the proposed system and superior performance over the conventional TH based UWB systems in the channel of S V was verified. It indicated that the lower bit error rate (BER) had been reached by modified arithmetic. In the condition of multi user communication, good applicability was shown between RS codes and UWB system. The interference between the users was effectively reduced and got lower BER.

PP: 1051~1057
Abstract: The paper designs a 3D spectrum analyzer based on HHT (Hilbert Huang transform). It can analyze nonlinear and non stationary signal except the traditional linear and stationary signal. The spectrum uses the DE2 FPGA board and NiosⅡ processor of Altera as hardware platform. In the proposed system, the real time outside signal, collected through audio acquisition module on DE2, is processed by HHT module. Moreover, the analysis results in terms of the 3D graph of time frequency energy distribution are displayed by the VGA module. Experimental result shows that the spectrum analyzer is very suitable for nonlinear and non stationary signal, which is able to show the instantaneous frequency and energy of the signal clearly, and overcomes the drawbacks of the traditional signal analyzers.

PP: 1036~1041
Abstract: To improve the quality of the reconstructed picture in video communication, a novel temporal error concealment algorithm for H.264 based on multi division mode adaptive overlapping is proposed. In this algorithm, external boundary matching algorithm (EBMA) is improved first, then the corrupted macroblock (MB) is concealed several times, each with different division mode, and the sum of absolute differences (SAD) of each mode is calculated. According to the value of SADs, two MBs with smallest SAD and second smallest SAD are weighted overlapping adaptively to conceal the lost MB. The simulation results show that, compared with the traditional algorithm, this algorithm has better performance of concealment in both objective and subjective evaluations.

Title: Power quality disturbances classification based on wavelet transform and binary tree architecture SVM
Authors: FENG Hao, ZHOU Luowei, LIU Yi
PP: 1002~1008
Abstract: Classification of power quality (PQ) disturbances has two key processes: feature extraction and classifier design. A new method based on wavelet transform and support vector machine with binary tree architecture (SVM BTA) is presented for power quality disturbances classification. At first, by use of alternative transients program (ATP), eight typical and two complex disturbance signals are generated as sample set. Then wavelet transform is applied to obtain multiple features, including the number of modulus maximum value, signal energy and the standard deviation of wavelet coefficients in special frequency band. This can reduce the data size and reflect the local feature of disturbance signals better. At last, the SVM BTA multi classifier is trained and tested by the sample set. The test results show that the proposed method can effectively classify ten disturbance signals with high classification accuracy and short training time.

Abstract: This paper illuminates a method to achieve fast frame timing synchronization based on the research of the frame structure and the primary synchronization signal for time division duplexing-long term evolution (TDD-LTE) system and Schmidl algorithm. This method is based on the Schmidl algorithm and the following improvements are proposed, they are making 16 fold down sampling processing on the data and setting 128 dots for sliding window length and setting 32 dots for sliding step. In this paper, the synchronization implementation principle which is based on the improved algorithm is analyzed in detail. A field programmable gate array (FPGA) based implementation scheme for frame timing synchronization is deeply introduced and coded in very high speed integrated circuit hardware description language(VHDL). The simulation result indicates that this method meets the requirements of the synchronization of the TDD-LTE system and achieves fast and accurate synchronization through a simple structure.

PP: 989~995
Abstract: The paper researches remote access technology for white goods based on Internet, and divides into three implementation proposals according to the installing place of the server. The paper separately introduces the whole system framework, the working theorem and the working process of three implementation proposals; and analyses the advantages and disadvantages of the three proposals from cost, expandability and safety deeply. The paper presents a practical proposal: “the third party” server proposal; the proposal solves the dynamic allocating IP problem of access network. Besides, the server is installed on the third party s huge server, so it strengthens safety of the system. And this proposal reduces demand to household gateway, so it decreases the cost of consumer. Through on the spot test of household appliances company, “the third party” server proposal works steady and successfully achieves the aim of remote access of white goods.

Authors: YI Youwen, JIANG Tao, QU Daiming
PP: 980~988
Abstract: In this paper, an iterative algorithm is proposed that combines channel and noise estimation with decoding to combat unknown narrowband interference for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) based communication systems. Simulation results show that the proposed iterative schemes effectively achieve a quasi optimal bit error ratio (BER) performance with low complexity. It is also shown that the proposed schemes are robust with respect to power and bandwidth of the interference. Moreover, the Cramér Rao Bounds (CRB) for mean square errors of channel and noise estimations are derived, and it is validated that the CRBs can be achieved via the proposed schemes with very few iteration numbers.

PP: 976~979
Abstract: Using e wallet and quantum technology together, the paper gives a method to implement the QFIC (quantum financial transactional integrated circuit)card, based on off line and on line scenario. The security is also discussed. When working off line, a QFIC with 128 quantum bits in two bases can make the probability of success fall into 2-128≈2.9E-39. While working on line, the eavesdropper can be found easily by transferring the information with BB84 or other quantum security communication protocol, and hence the using of QFIC is secure.
