Title: An Approach to Modular Design for Security Protocols Based on the Fail-Stop Property
Authors: FEI Xiangdong, PAN Yu
PP: 848~855
Abstract: An approach to designing Fail-Stop protocols is put forward, i.e., minimum Fail-Stop protocols as compositional modules are first designed, more complicated protocols are composed of these modules, the clarity and readability of protocol structure are regarded as the standard of estimating protocol quality. NSPK and Otway-Rees authentication protocols are designed with this approach. On the basis of an improved Woo-Lam authentication protocol and a non-repudiation protocol being pointed out to consist of flaws, they are revised and turned into Fail-Stop protocols.

PP: 830~837
Abstract: Based on differential evolution and stochastic ranking strategy, a differential evolution algorithm for constrained optimization problem is proposed in this paper. The proposed algorithm reserves sub-optimal solutions in the process of population evolution, which effectively enhances the diversity of the population. The experiment results on 13 well-known benchmark problems show that the proposed algorithm is capable of improving the search performance significantly in convergent speed and precision with respect to four techniques representative of the state-of-the-art in constrained optimization such as evolutionary algorithm based on homomorphous maps, artificial immune response constrained evolutionary strategy, constraint handling differential evolution, and evolutionary strategies based on stochastic ranking.

Authors: CHENG Jie, LUO Shouhua
PP: 819~824
Abstract: The three-dimensional cone-beam computerized tomography (CT) reconstruction is compute-intensive and time-consuming. This paper presents an innovative implementation of FDK algorithm, which solves the three-dimensional reconstruction task in cone-beam CT, based on graphics processing unit (GPU) using compute unified device architecture (CUDA). This implementation achieved a higher-speed reconstruction performance compared with the central processing unit (CPU) method in the filtering stage and back-projection stage, which is the most time-consuming part. Besides, comparing with the traditional accelerated method with graphics application programmers interface (API), the method is easier to implement and more efficient significantly.

Title: An improved force-driven list scheduling algorithm for high-level synthesis
Authors: HU Dezhi, XU Ning
PP: 804~808
Abstract: Force-driven list scheduling algorithm formed by using force-driven algorithm as a priority level standard is an efficient algorithm. Based on the traditional kinds of high-level synthesis of power-driven layout algorithm, this paper presents a new process of force-driven scheduling algorithm, in which the algorithm introduce a new data structure as an expression form of list scheduling, and improves the algorithm process. The algorithm does not require the number of different types of functional modules, but gives the proportion of these functional modules. Moving the proportion of definition of the functional modules outside the scheduling algorithm to avoid comparing with a variety of different types of functional modules as condition of whether to dispatch. Compared with classic force-driven scheduling algorithm, the algorithm achieves better results in reducing power consumption and latency.

Abstract: This system based on the Ministry of Education is a large-scale software of information management, which serves for 500 nationwide colleges and universities. Ministry of Education could grasp the situation of teachers in all provinces and regions in the country and coordinate the resources of teachers by use of it. This system is designed by SSH (struts, spring, hibernate) architecture to design, and follows the MVC (model, view, controller) design pattern. Struts framework primarily serves for the view layer and control layer; Spring framework serves for the Model layer, while it also has the role of decoupling; Hibernate conducts a lightweight package for the JDBC (java data base connectivity) and is used to communicate with the database. The system which follows the MVC pattern has a good architecture design based on the SSH. It is conducive to the change of needs and expansion of the system and facilitates the persons’ maintenance.

Abstract: Accurate indoor localization and navigation techniques are important and novel emerging techniques for public service, commercial applications and security. This paper presents a mobile terminal localization and intelligent navigation system for the large-scale indoor environment. This system is based on the radio frequency identification (RFID) technology and the time difference of arrival (TDOA) between radiofrequency and ultrasonic signals to estimate distance, and employs the three-point localization technology to achieve accurate position estimation of the hand-held mobile terminals. Then A* search algorithm is introduced to realize accurate and efficient navigation. As the experiment proves, this system can provide the average 3 cm distance estimation precision, which is able to meet the requirements of indoor localization.

Abstract: Approximate point-in-triangulation test (APIT), which is one of the localization algorithms for wireless sensor networks, is improved in this paper. The purpose is to improve the original algorithm in positioning accuracy and implement efficiency. In this paper, before the APIT test, received signal strengths of anchor nodes and neighbor nodes were compared in order to improve the original algorithm in two kinds of susceptible misjudgment when the unknown node within a short distance away from the side of the triangle. Simulation results show that the improved APIT algorithm can improve the positioning accuracy effectively without increasing hardware consumption comparing with conventional APIT algorithm. Furthermore, the algorithm is simple and needs small amount of calculation, so it has general engineering significance.

Title: Robust predictive control for networked control systems with long time delays
Authors: LIU Andong, YU Li, ZHANG Wenan
PP: 762~768
Abstract: The robust predictive state feedback controllers design problem is investigated in this paper for a class of networked control systems (NCSs) with uncertain long delays and input constraints. The designed controllers guarantee that the closed-loop NCS is asymptotically stable and that the on-line receding horizon performance index is minimized. Sufficient conditions for the closed-loop NCS to be asymptotically stable and the robust performance index to be upper bounded is derived by using the receding optimization principle. Furthermore, the state feedback control law is obtained by solving a convex optimization problem with linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) constraints. Finally, an example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
