Title: Interface design of human dimensions database

Abstract: Human dimensions have broad practicability, in order to let the users use these data conveniently, a database of human dimensions has been established and interface design has been accomplished. The database has collected the static human dimensions of Chinese army man, pilot and Chinese, dynamic human dimensions and some formulas of human dimensions. The users can find the data by the data class or sketch maps of human body according to their own requirement. To make the database compatible with domestic and foreign software, a generation method of middle documents has been introduced by CATIA.

Title: Studying of improved Saving method of VRP based on Dynamic programming

Abstract: In this paper, a new algorithm named DSM (Dynamic programming Saving Method) is submitted which improving the Saving Method of VRP. The optimization procedure of Saving Method is a multi-stage decision process, decision-making in each stage will always affect the future optional set of support strategy, even the decision procedure is nonreciprocal, it has basic characteristic of dynamic programming. DSM uses the basic characteristic of dynamic programming in the optimization procedure of Saving Method, combines the Saving Method standing in for heuristic approach and dynamic programming standing in for precise algorithmic, and to set up a dynamic programming mathematical model in which the saving value increased continually, so as to find the global optimal solution, which solved the inexactitude problems of couldn’t be assure of finding the precision optimal solution and the skimble-scamble solution, also avoids expanding of calculation. Yet, DSM model accepts increased constraint easily, it can add more filtrate conditions which make the computational procedure converging smoothly. DSM gives a certain practical value to micro midi VRP

Title: Measuring porous acoustic material’s complex wave number in wave tube

Abstract: This paper deduced the transfer-matrix of homogeneous and isotropic acoustic material, and the relationship between the transfer-matrix and the sound pressure and particle velocity on the surfaces of the acoustic material, study the methods of measuring the sound pressure and particle velocity on the surfaces of the material in wave tube. Then, the whole approach has been completed in theory. A new method is established for porous material’s acoustic parameters measuring.

Title: The superficial analysis of the grid generation technique based on Gambit

Title: Study on highway patrol process in Jiangsu Province

Abstract: Highway plays a great role in promoting economy and highway management effectively provides an guarantee to keep highway in a good condition. There is a heavy patrol task and insufficiency of patrol people in Jiangsu province. In this paper, in order to fully complete the patrol task and cost least manpower, equipment and money, the IDEF model was used to analyze highway patrol process in Jiangsu province and a projects which could be selected was introduced, and the target and pole value problem method was used to analyze and select, then the best project which could deal with all cases and cost least was finalized. The method used in this paper is fully considerable and easy in calculating, and is well applicable, and could be used by transportation management department.

Title: Virtual Reality Simulation on the Motion of a Wave Piercer Catamaran

Abstract: It is a hard job to design a high-speed craft partly due to the difficult, tedious and potentially hazardous sea-trials. During the preliminary steps the use of simulation as a tool for high speed craft development plays an important role since it allows for the development of each kind of design scheme to be integrated. Also it provides the best way to enable repeated and expensive testing of most aspects of high-speed craft control and reliability. A Wave Piercer Catamaran (WPC in short) based VR simulation system is present in this paper. Water jet propulsion system is modeled through SIMULINK while the world is modeled using VRML program language.

Title: Three degree-of-freedom forced vibration frequency domain method for identification of aerodynamic derivatives of bridge decks

Abstract: A completely numeral-controlled 3-DOFs forced vibration device was introduced. The frequency method for identification of 18 aerodynamic derivatives of the bridge deck was studied by three times 1-DOF test and one time 3-DOFs test. The effectiveness of the FFT method and the developed CORR algorithm is investigated by the identification of a thin-plate sectional model. The 18 aerodynamic derivatives of a streamline box girder were also identified.

Title: Reliability theory analysis on traffic data quality control

Abstract: High quality traffic data is the base of road plan and design, traffic signal optimization and traffic information release and so on. This paper studied the essence of traffic data quality control via reliability theory. First, it introduced the reliability theory algorithm, then analyzed traffic data collection and handling system structure, last, it concluded that the essence of traffic data quality control was the accuracy and stability of devices and systems. This conclusion is significant to conforming the emphasis of improving traffic data quality.

Title: Study on traffic flow of on-ramp junction in urban freeway with cellular automaton model

Abstract: Traffic flow characteristics had been studied in urban freeway on-ramp junction section. Numerical simulation was applied to on-ramp junction using one-dimensional cellular automaton (CA) model. Some reasonable lane-changing rules were constructed to analyze the special traffic flow characteristics, including parameters of traffic volume and inflow rate. The results showed that there was a slight disturbance with the inflow to mainline flow at the moment of little probability of the inflow. However, with the inflow probability increasing, mainline flow suffered from a serious disturbance. Especially, traffic jam could be produced when the mainline and on-ramp volumes increasing to a certain level. But for the outflow, the cases are completely different, mainline exit section will be at the phase of saturation when the inflow probability exceeding 0.5. Because much more vehicles from on-ramp will change lanes, the mainline traffic flow will be disturbed seriously. The results can provide some references for managing the on-ramp junction traffic system

Title: Survey and analysis of traffic flow on Binjiang Road in Guangzhou

Abstract: Binjiang Road, lying in south bank of Zhujiang River, is one of the main transmeridional roads in Haizhu District in Guangzhou. In recent years, the number of buildings on the roadside increase sharply, so is the traffic flow. As a result, Binjiang Road, which was originally quite expedited, has occurred congestion. By field traffic survey we discover: The traffic flow in Binjiang Road has the character of tide, and it reaches a peak in weekends. Finally, this paper advises some measures to improve the Binjiang Road's current conditions and can be referred by related department.

Title: The helicopter blades aeroelastic stability optimization in hover

Abstract: This chapter analyzes the different equations for the rotor flap and lag motion in hover. From which it can judge aeroelastic stability. This paper provided the sensitivity analysis method under the condition of multiple constraints. It realizes the optimization of the blade designing parameter model with different optimal methods. At last, compared the result of optimization to the model designed before, it identified that the optimum solution results in a 4.4%~12.3% reduction of the total mass of the rotor blade as well as a increasing in the peak-to-peak blade autoratorational inertia of 1.12 times, with which constraints were imposed on blade rotating frequencies, autorotational inertia, aeroelastic stability and so on.

Title: Research on fluvial process and hydraulic geometry of Sitan reach in Xijiang River

Abstract: The article analyzes the water-sand characteristics of the reach from Jieshou to Zhaoqing in Xijiang River in waterway regulation engineering. 33 fine reaches of Santan and 19 fine reaches of Jieshou were selected, then their water bed profiles and hydraulic geometry were analyzed by comparison of the topographical data of Xijiang River. The laws of fluvial processes were summarized and their hydraulic geometry formulation under different water level was successfully established.The research results could be a reference to waterway regulation planning and application.

Title: The forecast based on Trend Extrapolation of international container throughput of Ningbo port

Abstract: Ningbo Port is located in central China's mainland coastline, north and south and the Yangtze River "T"-type structure of the intersection, conveniently located, is China's famous deep-water port. In recent years, rapid economic development of Zhejiang, the foreign trade volume rose substantially, for the development of Ningbo Port has provided an opportunity. Ningbo Port blessed with the natural conditions for its own development laid a good foundation. Using the former years’ data of international container throughput of Ningbo Port and based on the trend extrapolation, this paper has set up a model to predict the international container throughput of Ningbo Port in 2006 and 2007, which provides the groundings for its scientific programming.

Title: Study the control tactics of traffic flow balance in green light belt system

Abstract: Green light belt control method is very important in transport system in cities. Transportation management pays much attention and applies this new technology in city transport system. In this paper, based on the control theory of green light belt and according to the scene of practice statistics, puts forward unbalance rate of traffic flow and vehicle speed in green light belt control when green light belt control technology is used. It is a new problem which causes city traffic jam today. The paper, analyses condition of the vehicles against green light belt control, performs mathematics calculation of two-way green light belt forming condition, advances six proposals when green light belt control will be used in city transport system.

Title: Influence of overloading on stress in asphalt pavement with semi-rigid base course

Abstract: The phenomenon of overloading is severer and severer along with the construction of highway in our country. Influence of overloading on asphalt pavement is discussed in the article, and also stressed distribution under different axle loads. It can be seen from the calculation that, the impact of overloading on neutral point whose normal stress is zero and tensile stress district on surface is minor. But overloading makes shear stress on surface, flexural-tensile stress at subbase course and compressive stress on top of subgrade increase remarkably. So it can discern the severity of overloading on pavement failure. Under overloading, the modulus and thickness of each course affect neutral point and each stress differently. So, each design index should be taken into account in pavement design, and we cannot optimize some fixed index blindly.

Title: Research on method of network development in road freight enterprises

Abstract: In order to make road freight out of the difficulties and meet the transportation demanding of economic development. This paper studied the main development problem and cause in the road freight enterprises, which use the capacity of market organization, the capacity of meet the high-quality transportation demanding, as well as the cooperation between enterprises in the road freight enterprise. The results indicate that the cooperation between road enterprises as well as the cooperation between road freight enterprise and business-related enterprises are weak and unstable. On the basis of this analysis, the “network” development strategy of road freight enterprise is proposed, which include horizontal and vertical network, it emphasis on the effective cooperation and reasonable division.

Title: Three-axis attitude control of micro-satellite based on magnetic torque and angular rate estimation

Abstract: A method of utilizing a single pitch momentum wheel and three magnetic torque rods to do three-axis satellites attitude control is developed. An attitude and attitude rate estimation technique based on star sensor to provide all the required angular rates without dynamic gyro is presented. Nonlinear equations of motion are developed and then linearized in a time varying form. The equations are reduced to linear time invariant using the periodic nature of the equations in an orbit. Magnetic control laws are developed using constant coefficient linear quadratic regulator. For the attitude determination, orbital model is used to generate reference Euler angle, and two more linear system models are used within a Linear Kalman Filter-one for the roll and yaw of the satellite and a second for the pitch. Optimal Control Law is used to provide negative feedback control. The new algorithms can provide a simple yet effective means of determining and controlling satellite attitude
