PP: 1553-1566
Abstract: To deal with existing problems of matching suitability, this paper presents a scene matching suitability analysis method based on CR-DSmT, which fuses multiple metrics to provide the robust selection of suitable matching areas. Firstly, this paper analyzes and presents some improved suitability evaluation metrics, and then poses the suitability analysis on the reference image as a reasoning process with these multiple metrics, which puts the conflict and uncertainty into the DSmT framework. The experimental analysis results indicate the validity of this proposed method.

PP: 1543-1548
Abstract: In this paper, the urban planning technology of transit oriented city (TOC) was presented, aiming to build structured, rational articulated urban public transportation system, as well as proposing corresponding land use adjustment strategies for large cities. Firstly, we delineate transit station multi-level catchment area and establish a comprehensive public transport system consisting of transit as the backbone, long-distance bus as supplemented, regular bus, bicycle and walking as shuttle modes. Secondly, we adjust land use type and proportion within catchment areas so that residents can complete most of none-work travel within one area, thus reducing the average trip distance. Thirdly, we adjust land use type and proportion between catchment areas, achieving a reasonable passenger volume distribution among transit stations and reducing the possibility of overloading a partial transit line.

PP: 1532-1542
Abstract: Aimed to evacuate the victim from disaster affected area safely, orderly, fastly, and to solve the difficulty to establish and maintain emergency vehicle lanes and transit-only lanes in sudden-onset disaster, this paper takes advantage of large capacity, high efficiency and low energy of transit system, and uses the transit system to evacuate the victim from disaster affected area by providing emergency signal or priority signal for transit based on passenger situation and transit status, proceeding transit emergency and priority signal arterial coordination control without emergency vehicle lanes and transit-only lanes in sudden-onset disaster. Firstly, vehicle signal priority level and priority strategy in evacuation route is analyzed. Then, transit arrival time estimation, queneing vehicle dissipation time estimation, traffic control signal status estimation, signal priority strategy optimization, arterial traffic signal offset optimization and online adjust as the kernel module are composed of transit emergency signal or prioprity signal arterial coordination control method. Finally, VC++ and Paramics API are used to develop simulation platform for testing the operation effect of transit emergency signal or priority signal arterial coordination control method. The results show that it can decrease travel time more than 13% and 6.0% and increase travel time stability more than 43% and 24% for transit signal emergency and transit signal priority separately under the saturation of traffic flow is greater than 0.8.

Abstract: A kind of heuristic arithmetic called A* arithmetic was studied in the field of flight conflict resolution strategy. Based on the analysis of conflict resolution strategy in China, a model of conflict resolution scheme was built in this paper. The cost function aimed at minimizing the working load of air traffic control (ATC) controller was designed, and the algorithmic framework was given. Results of simulation example showed that the method could reduce the searching space of controller’s instructions to a great extent, and optimize the controller’s strategy. Therefore, a scientific decision-making support has been proposed for the controller’s command.

Authors: ZHANG Ying, MA Kunquan
PP: 1516-1523
Abstract: Based on the principle of interaction between beam and rail and by taking a new long-span railway box hybrid girder cable-stayed bridge as the engineering background, the space finite element calculation model of tower-cable-beam-rail is established for researching the reasonable settings of rail expansion joint. Firstly, the model and related parameters are introduced. Then, the influence of rail expansion joint on additional longitudinal force and displacement is analyzed. Finally, we conclude that setting rail expansion joint at mid-span has little impact on additional longitudinal force. Setting rail expansion joint at one end of the bridge should not be considered in the practical engineering. Setting rail expansion joint at both ends of the bridge can effectively reduce rail additional longitudinal forces and the relative longitudinal displacement between rail and beam.

PP: 1509-1515
Abstract: According to the particularity of enterprise-owned cars transportation by national railroad, and on account of the traditional railcar blocking theory from loading area, we expand the modes for enterprise-owned cars direct transport by rail. On the basis of analyzing the possibility and rationality of operating direct trains for enterprise-owned cars as well as studying the cost parameters, we construct the optimal model for the enterprise-owned cars’ blocking plan. For the target of minimizing the total cost for operating enterprise-owned cars from loading area, and regarding of the uniqueness of single shipment’s blocking plan as constraint, the model can well solve the enterprise-owned cars blocking problem. Finally, in order to verify the rationality of the model, we give the solution for the Yanchang petroleum enterprise-owned cars transportation by rail.

Abstract: According to the laws of solar radiation, theoretical calculation and statistical data, the total solar radiation was calculated. The main application of solar energy to ships is photovoltaic power generating system. It is necessary to research solar panels layout of the ship, considering the features of ships and water environment. The optimization results of fixing layout are gained by analyzing the calculation of solar radiation of photovoltaic array in different areas according to the characteristics of different fixing types of photovoltaic array. We conclude that photovoltaic array under the condition of invariable area, fixed layout in decorate level is better than that of oblique arrangement. In the pursuit of power under the premise of most inclined layout better than horizontal layout, where the best angle on a small tourist boat exists.

PP: 1497-1502
Abstract: Aiming to solve the problem of the crack of a screw in stabilizer bar of one kind of automobile, finite element models of assembly composed of the screw end, nut and shim is established based on ANSYS. Two finite element models with circular shim and flat shim are built for the comparison to get the effects of the shim on screw crack. The static calculation results show that the use of circular shim will increase the stess of the screw while improve the pre-tightening force. Besides, the crack position is at the bottom of the thread part, different models are built according to the distributions of thread. The finite element static calculation of the screw based on the distribution of thread confirms the degree of the influences of screw thread distribution on crack, which leads to two new solutions which are put forward to improve the screw thread distribution.

PP: 1476-1482
Abstract: Because of fatigue cracking in orthotropic steel bridge plates and damage of asphalt pavement, this paper presents an innovative concept of “steel-ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) composite bridge deck system”. With an engineering project, we compare the composite bridge deck system to the original deck system. The results show that self-weight of composite bridge deck system is equal to the original plan, while the price reduced by 24% and the stiffness increased by 15%, and the steel component fatigue stress reduced by more than 40%. The composite bridge deck system has great application value. Relevant parameters analysis shows that thickness increase of the steel top deck achieve little promotion to mechanical properties. Strenthening the longitudinal stiffness can significantly improves the deck longitudinal stiffness and reduce hot-spot stress. Thickness increase of the UHPC-layer obviously improves the mechanical properties of bridge deck in both longitudinal and lateral direction, but it also increases the weight and cost of floor system.

PP: 1469-1475
Abstract: To design ultra-thin porous pavement, the permeability test, British pendulum test, dynamic friction test, acoustic absorption coefficient test, Cantabro test, rutting test, low-temperature bending test and freeze-thaw indirect tension test were conducted for 4.75 mm (OGFC4.75) and 13.2 (OGFC13) mm nominal maximum aggregate size gradation. Also, four types of porous asphalt mixesmade from two different asphalt binders were selected in this research. Test results show that the permeability, friction and anti-raveling performance of OGFC4.75 is either considerate or better than those with OGFC13, and has good permeable and noise-reduction performance. Epoxy asphalt binder is helpful for improving the pavement performance of open-graded asphalt mixes with small aggregates.

Title: Causation analysis of urban road driving speed drift based on fault tree
Authors: DONG Yongjie, CHEN Yuren
PP: 1461-1468
Abstract: In order to discern the cause of driving speed drift in urban road, a hierarchical model of road visual environment is established to analyze the amount of information of visual environment. Accordingly, the fault tree model is set up where speed drift is regarded as the top event. Minimal cut sets and structure importance of the model are calculated, and factors that have greater impact on speed drift are studied qualitatively. Based on a case study of urban road, the cause of driving speed is computed quantitatively. As can be seen from the result, environmental information should be set reasonably according to structure importance of actual road facilities so as to keep driving speed close, design speed and maintain steady speed and reliable road environment.
