Authors: ZHONG Hua, LIU Wantong, LIN Lin
PP: 857-869
Abstract: In order to improving the E-waste recycling rate and forming closed-loop supply chain, based on deposit refund system (DRS), we studied three kinds of closed loop supply chain model with product remanufacturing, namely the manufacturers, retailers and the third party collecting model. Compared the three models from the return rate of E-waste and supply chain profits and retail price and then concluded that no mater for manufacturers, retailers or entire supply chain, the model of retailer collecting can get the higher profits, however, the total profits in the centralized coordination system are the highest. Preliminary analysis of the impact of deposit size on the performance of the closed-loop supply chain, and the example analysis concluded that under the same condition, the retailers engaged in recycling of waste products can receive the best supply chain performance.

Title: Strength of ties and entrepreneurial resource acquisition of the individual online stores
Authors: WANG Kan
PP: 845-856
Abstract: This paper applies the theory of tie strength in the sociology research into explaining the channel differences of entrepreneurial resource acquisition of the online stores and mainly reveals the contingency impacts of entrepreneurs’ age, gender, entrepreneurial experience, work experience and weekly working hours on these differences. Based on 178 valid questionnaires from C2C online stores, we adopt group regression method to empirically test the moderating roles of these contingency factors on the relationships between tie strength and resource acquisition. The results enrich the theories of tie strength and online entrepreneurship and have a credible practical implication.

Authors: HAO Qingsheng, CHEN Nan, LI Rui, DOU Zhijie
PP: 839-844
Abstract: From numerous studies, the paper summarizes dynamic mechanism theory as contrary and complementary for research on restriction factors in way of thinking. The hypothesis is that dynamic mechanism plays a role in the development of complicated things. The theoretical connotation consists of a variety of dynamic factors and their research paradigms, such as internal and external powers, pushes and pulls, driving forces and tractions, dynamic main body, dynamic target, power lever and so on. It can be used to study the motivation of development and changes of things as well as causes of the problems. The methodology is to construct conceptual and mathematical model through theoretical analysis, and then conduct empirical research through quantitative analysis and case study. Finally we propose policy suggestion or finish scheme design. Structural interpretation model, systematic dynamics model and econometric model can be used as tools for dynamic mechanism research.

Title: Dynamic mechanism of continued participation of members in virtual community: the comparison of initial motivation and sustained motivation
Authors: LOU Tianyang, SONG Jinzhu, QIAN Yale, ZHANG Zhe
PP: 830-838
Abstract: From a virtual community operator perspective, sustained participation was measured in 4 dimensions. Drawing on the motivation theory of self-determination (SDT) and motivation orientation, our study was contributed by revealing what initial motivations will erode over time, and how these motivations influence sustained participation behavior in the initial stage and continued stage. Firstly, the altruism and reputation are the dominant motivations on community participation, and have the stronger influence on sustainer group than initial group. Secondly, the self-oriented and other-oriented motivations have different influences on participation behavior, and this relation is more obvious in the sustained group than initial group. The results can guide managers in designing the incentive policy to attain new incomers and achieve members’ sustained participation.

Title: Study on pricing strategies in a dual-channel supply chain under different channel power structures
Authors: LI Li,HE Jie,ZHAO Jie,YAO Ruibo
PP: 811-820
Abstract: We study a two-layer dual-channel supply chain and build a pricing model based on the consumer utility and selection. In order to provide decision support for the manufactures, we focus on the pricing issues for the supply chain and profit for the supply chain members in three cases such as the manufacturer and the retailer are in a status of peer-to-peer, the manufacturer works as the leader and the retailer works as the leader. We emphasize the effects of two factors i.e. perception degree of consumer for goods and other purchase cost besides price on the equilibrium price, and provide decision support for manufacturing enterprises to carry out the double channel operation. The result shows that the manufacturer’s optimal price on direct channel is not necessarily higher than the retailer’s optimal price on tradition channel. Besides, for the manufacturer, their optimal price are the lowest when they are in a status of peer-to-peer; and for the retailer, their optimal price are the lowest when they are in a status of peer-to-peer, and are the highest when the retailer works as the leader.
