Abstract:The Doppler interpretation of cosmological red shifts attributes these red shifts to only the relativistic Doppler effect of light coming from receding galaxies. We question this interpretation of cosmological red shifts. The Doppler interpretation of cosmological red shifts fails to catch the main cause of cosmological red shifts, namely the Universe’s evolution in the gravitational field of the Universe. This interpretation also fails to show the rationality of it as a theory. It contains an absurdity from the logical point of view, which makes us believe in that it must be misleading. | |||
