Abstract:It is an undoubtedly fact that CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analytical software makes an eminent roll in the indoor thermal environmental design. However, from the viewpoint of convenient, efficiency, reliability, which are cared for building design, CFD platform for special large-scale building like subway station is needed. This article takes an effort in the foundation of CFD platform for the indoor thermal environmental design of subway station, named SIMU_DDCZRHJ, based on PHOENICS. One difficult problem be faced is the spatial entity’s restructuring. According to the spatial data’s analysis approach that is put forward by the author, the simplified spatial data model has been set up, which offers the preliminary basement for the spatial database to the CAD/CFD system for the subway station.

Abstract:s a kind of novel adsorption material, collagen fiber immobilized tannin has promised to be an effective adsorbent for removing heavy metal ions from water. In this paper, the mechanism of preparing collagen fiber immobilized tannins was explored and their adsorption behaviors for heavy metal ions were extensively investigated. The results indicated that the formation of the covalent linkage of aldehyde between the nucleophilic sites of tannins and the amino groups of collagen side chains is the reason for solvent extraction resistance and high thermal stability of immobilized tannins. This observation is different from the previous elucidation of collagen-tannin-aldehyde interaction and implies that only condensed tannins, which have rich nucleophilic sites, can be immobilized onto collagen fiber by the described approach. The immobilized condensed tannins were effective in adsorbing Au(III), Th(IV), Cu(II), Pb(II), Cd(II) and Hg(II) from water. For some metal ions, like Au(III) and

Abstract:The standard 3D k-ε turbulence model was applied to simulate the flow field of a small scale combined oxidation ditch. The moving mesh approach was used to model the rotor of the ditch. Comparison of the computed and the measured data is acceptable. A vertical reverse flow zone in the ditch was found, and it played a very important role in the ditch flow behavior. The flow pattern in the ditch is discussed in detail, and approaches are suggested to improve the hydrodynamic performance in the ditch.

Abstract:his experiment is composed of two parts. The first one is to study the relationships between nutrient contents and physical properties of swine slurries in order to rapidly estimate fertilizer value of swine slurries. Analytical results of this experiment show that slurry fertilizer value can be estimated by two main physical parameters: electrical conductivity (EC) and specific gravity (SG). Electrical conductivity (EC) can be evaluated for estimating ammoniacal nitrogen and potassium in pig feces, in pig urine and in pig manures; specific gravity (SG) can be evaluated for estimating total nitrogen in pig feces, in pig urine, in pig manures and phosphorus in pig manures. The second one is to study the relationships between nutrient contents and nutrients intake is to estimate fertilizer value of raw swine slurries. Data of nutrient contents in diets and in slurries were obtain by feeding experiment and analyzed. One-way ANOVA analytical results of this paper show that the effect of d

5. Study on Influence of Cyclodextrins on the Photolysis of Dissolved Anthracene by Fluorescence Spectroscopy

Abstract: In this paper, a simple, fast and effective fluorescent method for studying the photolysis of dissolved anthracene (An) in cyclodextrins (CDs) aqueous solutions was developed. With this method the influences of five kinds of CDs on the photolysis of dissolved An were investigated. It was found that all five CDs have promotive effects on the photolysis of An. It was due to the incorporation of An into the CDs cavities which inhibited self-quenching of triplet-state An and prolonged the lifetime of singlet-state An. These enhanced the possibility of attack of oxygen to An and more singlet-state oxygens were produced. The effects of cavity sizes and steric hindrance of substituents of CDs on photolysis of An were explored. The order of capacity for promotion of various CDs was as follows:hydroxypropyl-β-CD (HPCD)> heptakis(2,6-di-O-methyl)-β-CD (DMCD)>β-CD>γ-CD>α-CD.
