Abstract:Compared with the parallel bus,I2C bus do require less wiring, fewer IC connection pins, and the less number of traces required on printed circuit boards. So there are many applications of I2C bus in IC design. In this paper, the principle and the operation of I2C bus will be introduced. Also the design of I2C slave in FPGA and I2C master in PC which is simulated by the parallel ports will be discussed.

Abstract:In multi-level HMIPv6 networks, the handover performance greatly depends upon selection of the MAP[2][7][8][9]. This paper proposes a novel MAP selection scheme based on minimal average handover delay (MAHD-MS). By analyzing the handover procedure and modeling the mobility pattern of mobile nodes, we deduce an equation for estimating the average handover latency, and then design the procedure of MAHD-MS scheme. Through extensive simulations with NS-2 simulator, we demonstrate the effectiveness of MAHD-MS scheme.

Abstract:Registration accuracy of InSAR is a key index in the procedure of the processing InSAR data. To obtain better measuring results, A multi-steps matching method is proposed to improve registration accuracy progressively for InSAR complex image. Firstly calculate the approximate offsets by using software EnView. Then perform pixel level’s primary matching and sub-pixel level’s precise registration. The primary matching algorithm based on texture structure information. Considering that the presented algorithms are based on the amplitude map and ignore the integration, the algorithm by using global relaxation matching on account of the phase is proposed in the last matching step to reduce the matching errors and improve matching precision. The experiment verified the nicer validity of this algorithm.

Abstract:In this paper we present a novel Uncoupled Fuzzy-based Geodesic Active Regions (UFGAR) framework for dealing with frame partition problems in image segmentation. Like the usually Geodesic Active Regions (GAR) framework presented by N. Paragios and R. Derichhave, our framework unifies boundary and region-based information. The boundary information of the mixture model is determined using a edge detector based on the fuzzy membership functions, and the region information indicates the region intensity properties is estimated by a measure based on the fuzzy membership functions too. The defined objective function is minimized using a gradient descent method where a level set approach is used to implement the resulting PDE system. But unlike GAR, which is based on the Maximum Likelihood Principle for the observed density function image histogram using a mixture of Gaussian elements, our model is based on FCM and fuzzy membership functions. We define a novel region measure based on fuzzy membership functions to measure the property of regions. According to the motion equation, the initial curve is propagated toward the segmentation result under the influence of boundary and region-based segmentation forces, and being constrained by a regularity force. The performance of this method is demonstrated by a synthetic image, and the results of its application to brain images are presented.

Abstract:Some two-dimensional signals may have different probability distribution of noise and frequency interference in different directions (horizontal and vertical, or space and time). It poses the question of how to extract desired signals from such complicated environment of noise and interference. It is difficult to extract by using classical DFT and DWT algorithms alone. To solve the problem, a hybrid 2-D transform, discrete Fourier transform-discrete wavelet transform (2-D DFT-DWT), with definitions, properties and algorithms, is developed for the hybrid 2-D signal processing. The hybrid transform can be used to remove the noise or interference in 2-D signals from different directions. Under the transform, desired results can be obtained to take advantage of merits of both DFT and DWT. Also, simulation illustrates the application.

Abstract:ZnO films were grown on Sapphire and n-type Silicon, and then deposited a gold film in some areas. After heat treatments in the air through gold alloy technics, they were employed to some electrical measurements. After treatment at the temperature of 850°C, ZnO, grown on sapphire and under gold layer, displayed super high resistivity. It seemed that the ZnO, grown on n-Si and under gold layer, displayed p-type conductivity, for diode-like I-V rectifying characteristics were observed between it and n-Si, and the ZnO layer, which was not deposited gold film. During the course of I-V characteristics measurement, the sample, grown on the n-Si and post treated at 750°C, appeared overflow twice, and then was observed stable rectifying characteristic. But the sample post treated at 650°C and lower temperature, was not observed rectifying characteristic. Farther experiment researches require to carried out.

Abstract:In order to accurately model and design MgZnO/ZnO heterostructure optoelectronic devices, a precise knowledge of the fundamental optical properties for ZnO and its alloys is important. However, few studies have reported on the optical waveguide characterization. In this letter, optical waveguide characterization of MgZnO/ZnO quantum well was preliminary studied, and optical confinement factor Г of the strained active region as well as the intensity distribution of the quantum well were figured out. From the results obtained above, this paper describes an optimal design for the molar concentration of Mg in the waveguide region and restrict region as well as thickness of the strained active region, waveguide layer, confined layer.

Abstract:The spatial plasma density distribution in the reaction chamber of the quartz tube microwave plasma apparatus is diagnosed at p = 1.20 kpa, Pw = 440W by a Langmuir probe, obtaining the biggest plasma density 1.05×1012/cm3. Also, the plasma density under different discharge gas pressure and power is diagnosed. Diamond-like carbon films are achieved at p = 6.8kPa, Pw = 680W with CH4 flow rate being 6ml/min and H2 flow rate being 200ml/min and detected by AFM, Raman spectroscopy instrument and profiler.
