Abstract:Object tracking is a hot and difficult research topic in computer vision. In this paper, we propose a object tracking algorithm based on L2 regularization least squares method and convolution network under the particle filter framework. Firstly, the extent of occlusion can be evaluated by L2 tracker. Secondly, convolutional networks is used to locate the target object if the extent of occlusion satisfies two inequality constraints. In order to make convolutional networks suitable for tracking tasks with high real-time requirements, this thesis uses a simple two-layer convolutional networks to represent the targets robustly. Finally, most of the insignificant samples are removed before applying convolutional networks, which reduces the complexity of the algorithm. The experimental results on numerous challenging image sequences show that the proposed method is more robust and stable than L2 tracker when the target object undergoes dramatic appearance changes such as pose variation or rotation and is superior in accuracy to other classical tracking algorithms.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider the problem of estimatingthe directions-of-arrival (DOAs) and ranges of multiple nearfieldnarrowband signals impinging on a symmetric uniformlinear array (ULA) in presence of complicated noise (e.g., in nonuniform noise) in practical applications.By forming a Toeplitz-like correlation matrix from the antidiagonalelements of the array covariance matrix, a new subspace-basedlocalization method is proposed, where the null space is obtainedthrough eigendecomposition of the resultant Toeplitz-like matrix, and the MUSIC method is used to estimate the locationparameters. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified throughnumerical examples.

Abstract:The enhancement of optical properties via thermal annealing on InP/ZnS core/shell quantum dots (QDs) film was investigated in this work. The increase of emission intensities of the QDs films was observed after thermal annealing at 180 ℃ for 5 minutes. Through temperature dependence photoluminescence (TDPL) and power dependence photoluminescence (PL) measurement, the peak located at the low-energy shoulder was confirmed to be localized states emission and the high energy one comes from free-carrier emission. Moreover, from the TDPL spectra of the sample anneal at 180 ℃ for 5 minutes, the full width at half maximum (FWHM) of localization states emission was nearly the same before 250 K, and then decreased with increasing temperature. However, the FWHM was decreased significantly with temperature increased in the untreated sample. We conclude that the escape of localization states with increasing temperature contributes to this anomaly phenomenon. Our studies have significance on the application of QDs in electroluminescence or down-conversion light-emitting applications.

Abstract:This paper researched the problems of Visible Light Communication (VLC) in atmospheric channel. The ambience noise and channel attenuation in free-space VLC link was analysed. Based on theoretical analysis, we designed a new interconnected system for remote wireless local area networks (WLAN) through outdoor VLC links, including transceiver hardware circuit. The integrated circuit contains the data exchange circuit, LED driver circuit and photoelectric conversion circuit. The communication terminals in different networks using WIFI or 100Base-T Ethernet could access information of each other. The system could transmit a long distance without cable and the data rates is up to 100Mbps due to the fast Ethernet.

Abstract:This paper firstly discusses the current ways of parking lot detecting. Although intelligent parking has playing an increasingly important role in the field of smart transportation, however, in the currently commercialized parking space detecting system, the forms of scheme are various, but there have some disadvantages such as low accuracy, poor anti-jamming ability and so on. Then we consider a parking lot sensing system based on Ultra-Wideband (UWB) Radar and studying the parking sensing algorithm. The primal work is studying and introducing UWB Radar into the detecting system, selecting (signal strength-distance) two-dimensional data as the determination of the parking situation data sets, and using typical SVM classification algorithm and K-means clustering algorithm of machine learning filed to process the data. A parking space sensing system is designed and implemented. Also, the test cases are carried out to demonstrate the performance of the proposed schemes for the system.

Abstract:WiFi Localization and Pedestrian Dead Reckoning(PDR) are attracting increasing attention due to its wide deployment and ubiquity on smartphones respectively. In this paper, we propose a fusion system based on Kalman Filter(KF) algorithm which combines a Single WiFi AP positioning system and PDR. Single WiFi AP positions depends on ToF calculation and AoA calculation which are breakthroughs in recent researches. PDR is variant of dead reckoning system which rely on inertial sensors on mobile phones. The fusion system makes best use of the advantages and bypass the disadvantages. Simulation results demonstrate that the performance of the fusion system outperforms the two independent systems.

Abstract:With the emergence of new applications and development of Internet technology, the network capacity required is growing explosively. Elastic optical networks based on Space-Division Multiplexing(SDM) technology have become the research focus in order to cope with the capacity limitation of traditional single-mode fibers. Compared with the traditional routing and spectrum resource allocation problem, the introduction of space division multiplexing technology in optical networks brings about the problem of core allocation. In this paper, we propose a routing, spectrum and core assignment method with the dividing frequency slots area for space division multiplexing elastic optical networks. Simulation results show that by using this method, blocking probability can be reduced.

Abstract:With the rapid development of big data services and distributed computing systems, their network communication performance has been approaching the bottleneck. Unlike the characteristic of end-to-end services in the traditional network, their communication features are characterized by multipoint to multipoint and strong performance association between flows. To solve the communication problem of distributed computing system network, we need to identify and classify these collaborative flows which are named as Coflow, a network abstract concept for collection of flows that share a common performance goal. Meanwhile, relying on the structural advantages of the optical burst ring network, information interacting with low control overhead, and the features of burst switching with fine-grained bandwidth adjustment, we can achieve flow scheduling eventually. Thus the basic optical burst ring network can achieve effective computing system interconnection. This paper aims to extend the optical burst ring network node with a Coflow classifier, so that it can support Coflow\'s classification and scheduling. And through building the FPGA-based network switching platform, our experiments have successfully verified the effectiveness of the extension design.

Abstract:This paper considers the security of transmission in buffer-aideddecode-and-forward underlay cognitive radio network, where aneavesdropper can intercept the data transmission from the source and relay nodes. In this paper, a new buffer-aidedrelay selection scheme is proposed to optimize the secrecy transmission, inwhich the interference introduced by primary transmitter andprimary receiver are considered. Moreover, finite size data buffersare assumed to be available at every relay to avoid selectingthe best source-to-relay and relay-to-destination links concurrently, and the secrecy outage probability in proposed schemeis derived. The proposed scheme is evaluated using simulationand theoretical results, which show that proposed scheme hasperformance advantage over the conventional unbuffered relayselection scheme.

Abstract:In wireless LANs (WLANs), heavy Channel State Information (CSI) feedback overhead has become a bottleneck in multi-user MIMO (MU-MIMO) transmission efficiency. Moreover, the current MAC protocol, like Quality of Service (QoS) based Transmission Opportunity (TXOP) Sharing, selects users without consideration of channel orthogonality which obviously influence the capacity of MU-MIMO. This results in bad user selection and excessive CSI feedback. This paper addresses these matters by proposing a cross-layer TXOP sharing mechanism, Group TXOP, which produces a Beamforming Group using a channel-based user selection mechanism and changes the TXOP holder from the Access Category (AC) to the Beamforming Group. Group TXOP takes advantage of channel orthogonality in selecting users and meanwhile amortizes the overhead to multiple frames by avoiding per-packet CSI feedback. The simulation results show that the relative overhead of CSI feedback reduces by 15% and the downlink throughput increases by 16% after using Group TXOP.
