Abstract:In order to satisfy the requirement for higher data rates, the UWB spatial multiplexing system that combines MB-OFDM UWB and V-BLAST scheme is presented in this paper. And then, various detection algorithms are studied and simulated in this system for the sake of a better performance. Simulation results show that MMSE-BLAST is an appropriate one among the conventional suboptimal algorithms, and the accuracy of the first detected layer determines the degree of error propagation. At last, a modified algorithm with the combination of ML and MMSE-BLAST is employed to reduce error propagation in the UWB channel with rich multipath. | |||

Abstract:In this paper, an H-shaped power distribution network is designed based on constructal theory for EBG structure in PCB power plane, to optimize the direct current performance. EBG structures provide noise suppression performance and the network provides currents. This network is composed of hierarchical metal paths, and the geometric parameters can be optimized according to constructal theory. The optimal performance consists of constructing the giving area in a sequence of building blocks from the smallest size toward larger sizes hierarchically. In the meantime, a PCB power plane is developed based on the second order H-shaped constructal network which illustrates that EBG power plane with H-shaped network has multifunctions of low voltage drop, current equidistribution and effective noise isolation. | |||

Abstract:With the development of the Sensor Network, the problem that it is difficult to connect mutually between sensor network and existing transmission network has affected its development. In This paper, we propose the Sensor Network Gateway (SNGW) with multi-interface access to adapt the various sensors. In order to explain the principle better, we take Zigbee access as the example and analyze the protocol according the position of the SNGW in the protocol architecture. At the end of the paper, we perform the implementation of SNGW with ARM-based Embedded System. | |||

Abstract:Initial alignment of strap down inertial system is a hot topic at home and aboard recently, and its precision is closely related to the precision of navigation system. Since the error of the initial alignment is transmitted in the form of schuler cycle, the traditional compass can realize the self-alignment by adding the damping units. But the schuler condition can also be damaged, and this leads to the errors caused by external environment accelerations such as carrier moving acceleration and the sea wave acceleration added to the system, which consequently reduce navigation accuracy. In this paper, a simulation of compass alignment on the base of introducing external velocity damping is given. The outstanding advantage of introducing velocity can be obtained. The paper gives principle diagram, loop circuit design and parameter deduction. The results of an extensive simulation study indicate that the external velocity damping method can effectively eliminate ill effect of disturbing accelerations. Meanwhile, the results also indicate that the external velocity measurement precision may have constraint effect on the alignment precision, so it demands a high precision velocity sensor in practical use. However, recent velocity sensor can immediately meet the demand. | |||

Abstract:High permittivity and low loss SrTiO3/Ni0.8Zn0.2Fe2O4 (STO/NZO) composites with concrete-like morphology were prepared through hybrid processing route. The dielectric properties in the low frequency range (100 Hz ~ 1 MHz) follow the rule of Maxwell–Wagner interfacial polarization. The dielectric and magnetic properties in the high frequency range (10 MHz ~ 1 GHz) exhibit a well integration of dielectric and magnetic properties in the composites with low dielectric and magnetic losses. The STO/NZO composites show good dielectric properties and magnetic properties with low loss in high frequency to microwave frequency range. The results show that this kind of magnetic-dielectric composites can be used in high-frequency communications for the capacitor-inductor integrating devices such as electromagnetic interference filters and antennas. | |||

Abstract:Using the OmniVision OV7620 CMOS image sensor as photoelectric imaging device, glueless connecting was achieved between the USB2.0 controller CY7C68013A and the sensor by general programmable interface (GPIF). The simple high efficiency and low-cost hardware which be apt for high speed image capture was designed and the software system was also compiled based on the multi-thread technology. Abstract:This paper proposes a novel immune clonal algorithm, called a quantum-inspired immune clonal algorithm (QICA), which is based on the concept and principles of quantum computing, such as a quantum bit and superposition of states. Like other evolutionary algorithms, QICA is also characterized by the representation of the individual, the evaluation function, and the population dynamics. However, instead of binary, numeric, and symbolic representation, QICA uses a quantum bit, defined as the smallest unit of information, for the probabilistic representation and uses a string of quantum bits as a quantum bit individual. By quantum mutation operator, we can make full use of the information of the current best individual to perform the next search for speeding up the convergence. To demonstrate its effectiveness and applicability, experiments are carried out on Multiuser detection in Direct-Sequence Code-division multiple-access (DS-CDMA) system. The results show that QICA is superior to the other algorithms in quality and efficiency. | |||
