Abstract:In this paper, the outage behavior of a decode-and-forward (DF) relaying network is studied in a two-hop diffusion-based molecular communication (MC) system. The MC system can be characterized by outage probability and outage events. Based on this event and probability, the robustness of the transmissions to fading is measured. Specifically, according to Shannon\'s capacity theorem and Fick\'s law, the outage probability of fading channels is investigated. The distribution characteristics of the channel gain is considered based on the proposed relaying system. The analysis of this article can be useful for the performance optimization of MC system.

Abstract:As a new advancement of the theory of fractional dimensionality of electron states architecture in semiconductor heterostructure physics, more accurate estimation of the linewidth of energy level dispersion in GaAs based semiconductor heterostructures at a temperature of 300K has been made by adopting a modified energy level dispersion function featuring an asymmetric lineshape and the relevant dimensional similarity functions modified mainly by introducing a novel concept of quantization baseline of density of states. It is determined as about 0.00221eV, which is in the same order of magnitude with the previous result, but about 10% larger than that. This work may magnify the impact of the fractional dimensionality theory on the development of semiconductor quantum electronics and optoelectronics and even that of fundamental physics.

Abstract:With the rapid development of the information technology, digital music is becoming an essential carrier of music communication. Researches of speech enhancement are penetrating deeply and have got a good performance recently, while it is relatively less in music denoising. In the applications of music information retrieval(MIR), such as automatic music transcription and music alignment, various noises may influence the performance of retrieval algorithms. In this paper, end-to-end approaches based on high-resolution representations are presented without manual feature extraction. The U-Net model cascades neural networks with different resolutions while the HRNet model fuses high-to-low resolutions to extract high-resolution features. To solve the lack of specialized music denoising database, we mix the music database MusicNet and the noise database NoiseX-92 with five different signal-to-noise ratios. Through the analysis of source to distortion ratio, the HRNet model outperforms the U-Net model. The results reveal that the resolution fusion methods of HRNet is more suitable for high-resolution feature extraction to reduce noises.

Abstract:The traditional 12-lead electrocardiography (ECG) monitor system can record limited body surface potential (BSP) information at some particular area, where the cardiac state can only be roughly evaluated. In order to collect more heart information, in this study, a 32-lead BSP acquisition system is designed. The Wilson central terminal (WCT) is set as the reference electrode to obtain the BSPs at different points. To verify the proposed system, three sets of BSPs about hea |
