	1. Scaling behavior in the asymmetric quantum Rabi model

	Abstract:The scaling behavior and critical exponents are examined in the asymmetric quantum Rabi model, where the parity symmetry is violated. A phase transition occurs in this model, allowing for the determination of critical exponents. A general scaling function is formulated, encompassing two scaling variables. Additionally, a quantum hyper-scaling relation between critical exponents is established. The investigation reveals that the scaling form remains applicable, employing an alternative scaling variable, even when the coupling is below the critical point. This discovery offers valuable insights into the experimental investigation of the super-radiant phase transition, particularly in the cavity platform, which has been limited by the well-known no-go theorem.

	2. Physics-informed Neural Network method for predicting soliton dynamics supported by complex PT-symmetric potentials

	Abstract:We examine the deep learning technique referred to as the physics-informed neural network method for approximating nonlinear Schr?dinger equation under considered parity time symmetric potentials and obtaining multifarious soliton solutions. For the first time, neural networks founded principally physical information are adopted to figure out the solution the examined nonlinear partial differential equation and generate six different types of soliton solutions, which are basic, dipole, tripole, quadruple, pentapole and sextupole solitons we consider. We make comparisons between the predicted and actual soliton solutions to see whether deep learning is capable of seeking the solution the partial differential equation described before. We may assess whether physics-informed neural network is capable of effectively providing approximate soliton solutions through the evaluation of squared error between the predicted and numerical results. Besides, we also scrutinize how different activation mechanisms and network architectures impact the capability of selected deep learning technique works.Through the findings we can prove that the neural networks model we established can be utilized to accurately and effectively approximate nonlinear Schr?dinger equation under consideration and predict the dynamics of soliton solution.

	3. Direct tuning of soliton microcombs in ultrahigh-Q MgF2 crystalline microresonator

	Abstract:The dissipative Kerr soliton combs based on microresonators have attracted wide attention due to their high coherence and on-chip integration. Soliton microcombs have been proven to have broad application prospects in the fields of coherent communication, on-chip low-noise microwave generation, optical clock, etc. However, most applications for tuning the bandwidth of soliton microcombs use a thermoelectric cooler (TEC), which increases the complexity of the system. Here, we have fabricated a magnesium fluoride microresonator with an ultrahigh-quality factor of about 927 million. Use \'power-kicking\' technology to actively capture and stabilize solitons. Then, the bandwidth and recoil of the solitons are tuned directly by the acousto-optic modulator of the system. We have demonstrated that this technique provides more direct and concise feedback and reduces the complexity and cost of the system.

	4. The Analysis of Efficiency for High-dimensional Quantum Secure Direct Communication Under Atmospheric Turbulence

	Abstract:Recently, there is a tremendous attention on the high-dimensional quantum information processing using the orbital angular momentum(OAM) of photons. It provides an efficient method to increase the capacity of quantum channel. However, OAM is very vulnerable to atmospheric turbulence, resulting in phase distortion and therefore, leading to information leakage during quantum communications. On the other hand, quantum secure direct communications (QSDC) defines an efficient way of information exchange through quantum channels directly. Here in this work, by combining the applications of OAM states of photons as the information carrier with the QSDC, this paper analyzed the performance of the high-dimensional quantum secure direct communication protocol based on encoding the information on the single photon OAM state under the condition of free space channel. Numerically, this paper discussed the performance of OAM states QSDC under atmospheric turbulence, and mainly calculates the influence of cross-talk caused by phase fluctuation on the system. This paper has drawn the conclusion that in weak turbulence, when the beam waist w\' and the Fried parameter r become comparable, the information capacity will decrease sharply.

	5. Quantum state manipulation based on nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond

	Abstract:A scheme for quantum state manipulation based on the nitrogen-vacancy centers is proposed in the paper. The scheme uses the properties of nuclear and electronic spins to generate the Bell states and performs quantum state manipulation through a series of quantum gates. To avoid state collapse due to the measurement, the scheme transforms the entangled state consisting of electron spin and nuclear spin to the photon entangled state and uses the parity gates for probabilistic identification. The scheme is physically feasible and may provide new perspectives for NV center-based quantum state transfer and quantum information processing.

	6. Plasmon Enhanced Visible Light Photocatalytic Activity of Flower-like Au-TiO2 Core-shell Nanoparticles

	Abstract:Flower-like Au-TiO2 core-shell nanoparticles (NPs) were synthesized by a facile and high-yield hydrothermal method in which gold NPs were used as cores and TiF4 was used as precursor. A series of characterizations were carried out to examine the morphology, crystallinity, and composition of the nanostructures. The Au-TiO2 core-shell NPs exhibit uniform flower-like morphology, porous TiO2 shells, and strong surface plasmon resonance (SPR) absorption band in the visible light region. Hence, compared with the hollow TiO2 NPs, the Au-TiO2 core-shell NPs exhibited greatly improved photocatalytic activity for the degradation of methylene blue under visible light irradiation. Such enhancement can be ascribed to the resonant energy transfer and direct electron transfer between TiO2 and Au parts in the core-shell nanostructures. We believe that such plasmonic photosensitizers based on this enhancement mechanism would offer much more flexibility for designing solar energy materials, photocatalysts and other optoelectronic devices.

	Abstract:We propose a scheme of practical four state decoy state reference-frame-independent quantum key distribution(RFI-QKD) with the heralded pair-coherent sources (HPCS). Although fewer state is used in our scheme, its performance can approach original six-state protocol. Through utilizing HPCS, we can obviously improve the performance of four state RFI-QKD in both the final key rate and the secure transmission distance compared with the protocol using weak coherent sources. Moreover, when taking source flaws, intensity fluctuations and statistical fluctuations into consideration, simulation results show that our protocol can achieve high key generation rate at long distance transmission.

	Abstract:We report the forward radiation lasing and absorption phenomena in pure nitrogen gas produced by a collinear two-color laser setup, consisting of a 800 nm pump and 354 nm probe pulses. The spectral components of transmitted probe pulse are attributed at 353.8 nm, 354.9 nm and 356.4 nm, corresponding to transitions in the first negative band of the singly charged nitrogen molecular ion N2+. Compared with the absorption signals at 354.9 nm and 356.4 nm, the signal at 353. nm is radiational. The present study has a further understanding of population distribution in upper vibrational state.

	9. SPR phase detection for measuring the thickness of different thin metal films

	Abstract:In this paper, a novel method to determine the thickness of different thin metal film is put forward which uses Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) phase detection method. The relations between the metal film thickness and the phases of the transverse magnetic (TM) and transverse electric (TE) polarization of the reflected light are shown in the simulation results. By recording the interference patterns which contain the information of the phase differences in the experiments, the values of thickness are calculated. Both of the theoretical analysis and experimental results indicate that the approach presented is feasible and reliable. Thus, it is possible to use the method of phase detection to determine the thickness of different thin metal films in SPR prism couplers directly with nanometer resolution.

	Abstract:In this paper, the phase detection method is demonstrated to determine the films thicknesses of bimetallic layers by Surface Plasmas Resonance (SPR) prism coupler. It was proposed and developed by matching the experimental results to the theoretical curves of the phase difference with different angles of incidence. Theoretical analysis and experimental results indicate that the method proposed is stable and reliable, and feasible to be used to determine the film thickness of bimetallic layers directly with nanometer order resolution.
