This paper investigates the relationship of resonance sound absorption frequency between perforated panel and thin plate. Classical theory believed that the perforated panel and thin plate have different sound absorption principle and the formula to calculate resonance sound absorption frequency have been deduced from different way, inevitably, they are unlike for their equation express. However, it is discovered that the two formulas can be equaled to each other for the common materials used in practice. The two formulas have been examined and deduced being equal when the density and thickness of materials are below 8 and above 0.1mm. respectively.
