Coupling of multi-physical parameters in extra high voltage SF6 circuit breaker (UHV SF6 CB) has been investigated. For 2D combined mathematical model of electric field, flow field and turbulent flow developed, the coupling condition of multi-physical field of CB was established. And the computations have been carried out for 500kV 1-break SF6 CB. The aerodynamic behavior and electrical characteristics varying with interrupting course have been investigated. In addition, the dielectric recovery characteristics (DRC) of the 500kV 1-break SF6 CB has been obtained, the visualization of breaking course has been realized.
