Gifted children who have ADHD are a relative new topic in educational realm. As a combination of giftedness and ADHD, it shares some common traits of both conditions, and also is unique in its own characteristic. The first part of this paper is developed to introduce the definition of giftedness and ADHD. Some common issues in identifying and educating this group of children will be presented and discussed. The second part of the paper is a case study of a boy who is intellectually gifted and having ADHD, Combined type. The analysis includes the discussion of his strengths, weaknesses, school and family factors, and etc. By the end of the discussion, some suggestions on how to develop an effective intervention will be provided.
