A novel concurrent dual-band receiver with the improved architecture of the Weaver is involved. The Weaver architecture has the ability to discern the required band and the imaged band when it works in single sideband. So with the LOs of the appropriate frequency, the architecture can make out two different signal bands as concurrent dual-band receiver. Compared with a former receiver, the approach can cost less power and reduce system complexity and area. A simulation and theoretical analysis is implemented to demonstrate the feasibility of this approach.
