The paper introduces a kind of system combined with InSAR and GPS, which is based on the rapid development of modern synthetic aperture radar interferometry(InSAR)system according to its data's advantages and disadvantages in the deformation monitoring. The system will be able to effectively improve the accuracy of deformation monitoring, especially in the settlement monitoring, with perfect accuracy and reliability. Through the simple analysis of the principle and performance of the synthetic aperture radar interferometry (InSAR)and global positioning system(GPS),the paper gives a bright prospect of InSAR/GPS in the deformation monitoring .
