The paper examines the mine subsidence monitoring issue from a further perspective. Different from previous research, this paper wants to emphasize the importance of curve model in the study of the gray system and the L curve. In what follows we want to show that both the practical application in monitoring. There are three parts in this paper. We start with a brief introduction to two curve model. Then we propose a practical application to testify the accuracy of the model. We find in our research that different mining subsidence prediction data model is not fixed. Based on these findings, we may conclude that the proposed two models or other models should be calculated to find the most suitable prediction model to monitor the distribution of mining subsidence and guide exploration and production for different settlement value of each group of mines.
