We demonstrate a field emission investigation of flexible free-standing graphene paper. It was found to be a potent field emitter, characterized by turn on field at 2.4V/μm, and current density of 10mA/cm2 was received at 3.8 V/μm. Here we also report the way to fabricate the free-standing graphene paper. Fourier Transform Infrared Spectra (FTIS), Atomic force microscopy (AFM) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) were used to identify the paper. This graphene paper may be used as a flexible field emission cathode.
