The mechanical properties of low carbon Si-Mn TRIP steel for heat treatment process were studied by XRD、impact test and tensile test. The results showed that 27SiMn steel could obtain three-phase organization of ferrite, bainite and retained austenite after heating at 790℃, holding insulation for 50min and then being isothermal quenching at 380℃ for 20min. The comprehensive mechanical properties were 27225MPa×% and the tensile strength and the elongation were 825MPa and 33% respectively by means of this heat treatment technology. But meanwhile it could receive that the impact toughness was 47J/cm2 and the hardness was 217HB. the retained austenite content was 15.76%, when gained the above excellent qualities. Under this heat treatment process, it contributed to TRIP effect obviously.
