Rutile minerals is a kind of very important resources of titanium,its comprehensive exploitation and utilization is always an important and difficult work around the world.The progress of mineral processing of rutile minerals was reviewed in this paper,including the values of titanium, the basic properties of rutile minerals , the crushing process, the mineral processing technologies, the related flotation reagents, the mineral processing equipments,the desliming process and the final purification of concentrates.The key points of research on mineral processing of rutile minerals were summarized.
