In this research paper, radix tetrastigme was as a research object, with its comprehensive value as the starting point and research results in the important demonstration base of radix tetrastigme in counties of Shunchang and Fuan of Fujian Province. SWOT matrix analysis method was adopted to analyze the external environment and internal conditions of the industry. The potential economic value of radix tetrastigme was found in Chinese medicine market. The concept of sustainable development should be realized the integrated development of the industry in the future to promote the standardization, modernization and internationalization of Chinese medicine market. ?????
