In this paper, the problem of stability two-dimensional discrete systems in general model are investigated. From the stability criterion in frequency domain interval, new sufficient conditions of asymptotic stability are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Then via a frequency-partitioning approach, the conditions are improved and have less conservatism. Simulation results are given to illustrate the proposed method.
