This paper proposes a FBG-based light intensity monitoring method.The experimental results show that the method has good stability and high sensitivity.This paper is for real-time monitoring light intensity, monitoring model with cantilever beam structure and BP neural network algorithm, which is based on fiber grating sensing technology. After the BP neural network correction, the eventually monitoring results are closer to the monitoring results by illumination photometer. The accuracy of the model can meet the project requirements and it can monitor light intensity in real time.
