This paper investigates the distribution characteristics of natural energy such as solar energy, outdoor air temperature and humidity in Chongqing rural area. Through the experimental test, the suitability of the heating system (solar water heating system, air source heat pump heating system, solar hybrid air source heat pump heating system) in Chongqing rural area was analyzed. The research shows that the annual total solar radiation in Chongqing is between 3200 and 3900 MJ/m2, and the solar water heating system is greatly affected by the weather. On the sunny days in winter, the average temperature of hot water rises by 21 C, which can\'t meet the use requirements. The average outdoor temperature of Chongqing rural area is 7.9 C, the average relative humidity is above 87%, and the air source heat pump heating system has a COP range of 1.5-2.0, which is not efficient. The energy efficiency ratio of the solar hybrid air source heat pump heating system can reach 3.21, which is far greater than the performance of the air source heat pump when it is separately heating, and overcomes the shortcomings of the solar water heating system whose performance is greatly affected by the weather. Therefore the solar hybrid air source heat pump heating system is more suitable for heating in Chongqing rural area.
