The purpose of this project is to help in getting a better understanding by creating ontology of topics discussed in the Internet Engineering Task Force (hereinafter referred to as IETF). In order to achieve this target, my project extracts terms from RFCs then create and classify the topics based on those terms. After that, I create an ontology [1] based on those topics and classify the Working groups (hereinafter referred to as WGs) by using ontology. For this part, I innovatively combined ontology factors with the traditional similarity algorithm and created the weight and ontology-based similarity algorithm to classify the WGs.
Keywords:Ontology, IETF, Protégé, Similarity algorithm
