The method to apply antenna selection combined with maximal ratio combining at each transmitter and receiver to realize spatial diversity in the MIMO-OFDM system is investigated in this paper. At the transmitter, the desirable antennas are selected through a set of antennas with the channel state information (CSI). The receive signals are combined with maximal ratio combining (MRC) algorithm at receiver correspondingly. In the end, the simulation is conducted in SUI-3 channel model in order to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
