DFT-Spread OFDM (DFT-S OFDM), known as frequency-domain generation of the single-carrier frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA), is an uplink transmission scheme of Evolved UTRA LTE. Our research mainly discusses the channel estimation of the DFT-Spread OFDM system based on different design of pilot signals, including FDM(Frequency Division Multiplexing) and CDM(Code Division Multiplexing) pilot multiplexing. Since the FDM method has been discussed elaborately in several contributions already and fully accepted, this paper focuses on the design of pilot employing CDM and corresponding channel estimation method.
