The two-step SAI-SSOR_CG method is applied in this paper to solve the large system of linear equations resulted from the hierarchical implicit TDFEM method. Convergence properties of this two-step SAI-SSOR_CG method are compared with other preconditioned CG algorithms, including SAI_CG and SSOR_CG. Numerical results demonstrate that the two-step SAI-SSOR_CG method performances the best. Also the reversing Cuthill-McKee (RCM) ordering method is used to reorder the sparse matrices created by the hierarchical implicit TDFEM scheme. And the RCM ordering method makes SAI-SSOR-CG method more efficient.
