Bronchiolitis caused by respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a common lower respiratory tract infectious disease of young children. In recent years, studies on the link with bronchiolitis and asthma are payed more attention increasingly, especially on those with atopy.This review focus on the epidemiology, immunopathogenesis and development of asthma after bronchiolitis, treatmant and prevention of bronchiolitis may be involved.
