Some basic assumptions of fractal elasticity are investigated. The fractal Cauchy stress are introduced and its expansion obtains the vector forms of fractal surface force and body force.The tensor forms of the governing equations in fractal medium are obtained by the fractional differential geometry in fractal orthogonal coordinates and oth the basic equations and the boundary conditions are discussed by dimensional homogeniety. Using some basic assumptions the simplest uniaxial model in fractal body is investigated in detail and its governing equations are obtained.
