Digital image compression and code technology is to resolve the problem that large image information in the transmission .This paper’s fractal Code algorithm is based on the IFS, passes a programming, in the Matlab7.0 environment, takes the minimal different pixel area piece respectively to the same image, realizes the code compressing code compromise to its mark shape, and then gets their decipher image respectively, analyses reasons for different results. From the theoretical analysis,fractal image compression and code technology has a great advantage to improve the image’s compression ratio and the decoding time is very little ,it is also conducive to enhance the speed of communication,its biggest drawback is that compression time is very long, needs for further improvement.
