This paper sets up a novel and systematic solution to the problems of the developing streaming media system in the wireless network. On the basis of Live555 open source project, it elaborates the architecture of the resolution and discusses further on the real-time audio data transmission. Finally, one appropriate mechanism for streaming is implemented in terms of software on Symbian OS. This application overcomes the drawbacks of traditional ones by satisfying users in immediacy as well as having good scalability.
