The grouting and bolting reinforcement method is widely used for ground support in underground mines. In the present study, the rock support mechanism of grouting in combination with bolting device is studied, and subsequently the key technical issues associated with this support approach are analyzed. Based on a practical case of the collapse area of the main transport roadway at a underground mine in China, a systemic support design is proposed and used to control the development of collapse area. Meanwhile, a 3D numerical modeling with FLAC3D is utilized to simulate the stability of surrounding rock mass after supporting. By calculating the displacement of surrounding rock and the change of maximum unbalanced forces, the stability of the collapse area of the roadway has a great improvement after applying the grouting and bolting reinforcement method, and the operation safety of the transport roadways can be guaranteed effectively. |
