| Recent years the Internet of Things enhances the development of RFID, especialy its use in logistics, so the need of UHF RFID handheld reader becomes larger. however, the price of handheld reader is very expensive, which is not good for universal use. To solve this problem, in this paper we proposed a new kind of UHF RFID handheld reader. The reader consists of cell phone, RFID module and antenna. The cell phone and the RFID module are connected via wireless USB. Because we take use of the cell phone, so we can save the cost. In this paper a reader software demo was developed and a compact polarized microtrip antenna was simulated. In the end we made a conclusion and raised some future work. |
