Based on quaternions we try to construct quaternion coherent state (QCS), dueto the noncommutativity of quarternions' multplication some new integrationformulas over quaternions are derived in this paper which helps to find thecompleteness relation of QCS. We also prove that quaternions is the onlypossible natural extension of complex number. Application of QCS in derivingoperator identities is also presented with the use of the integrationtechnique within an ordered product (IWOP) of operators.
