This paper investigates deformation configuration of small bundle of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs). The continuum hollow beam model is adopted. If suspend freely, a pair of CNTs will not remain parallel but twist with each other forming a helix structure. This result is comparable to that analyzed from Buehler's simulation [12]. We also investigate situation of 3 or 7 CNTs that form a bundle. If two CNTs are constrained on a plain and their lengths do not coincide, there will be a bow structure. These effects will be more prominent for more slender tubes, and these phenomena will influence application and mechanical property of CNT.
