In the absence of valid medicines or vaccine,quarantine and isolation strategies are the most important andeffective measures against the epidemics such as SARS (Severe AcuteRespiratory Syndrome). In this paper, the stability analysis of thedisease-free equilibrium for the Multi-area SEQIJR SARS propagationmodel with the quarantine and isolation control were investigated.The influence of the inter-area population flow to SARS control weremainly addressed. When the coupling matrix C describing theinter-area population flow has two special structures of outer:star-shaped coupled structure and globally coupled structure, thestability problems were studied in details.
