| Smart Grid is the future of the next grid, Communication technology is one of the key issues of smart grid. This paper analyses the communication requirements of China Smart Grid including transmission, substations, power distribution, electricity, scheduling. Then the shortage of the communication network in China is investigated. The paper also proposes the structure of the future optical fiber backbone communication network, the power distribution communication network and the access network of the user side for Smart Grid. Finally, the use of advanced communication technology toward future state grid is introduced. |
