This paper is devoted to robust stabilization problem for a class of uncertain switched nonlinear systems with lower triangular structure. A new systematic recursive algorithm for designing a common stabilizing controller is proposed based on backstepping method. It is demonstrated theoretically the constructed controller can guarantee the resulting closed-loop switched system to be robust globally asymptotically stable at the equilibrium for any switching signal. Moreover, an illustrative example is given to show the effectiveness of the given recursive approach.
