Hybrid compound [(EV)(Cu2I4oI2)]n (1) was firstly introduced into electrical bistability material with ON/OFF ratio of about 100. Its structure can be discussed as a two dimensional layer directed by viologen cationic template [depp]2+, and I I weak interaction can be observed for the formation of [Cu2(I2)2I2]n2- layer. And its dsorption was also discussed. Its bistability behavior can be explained as comformation change mechanism judging from DFT calculations.
Keywords:Copper Iodide Hybrid; Electrical Bistability; DFT Calculation
