This paper presents an Android platform's phone steering control system and method which uses phone vibrator to drive the phone to rotate and bases on the orientation sensor to accurately control the rotating angle. This paper first introduces the background of the system and the principle of the method. In addition, it also analyzes and compares the control system between the traditional PTZ control and the control based on the phone vibrator and orientation sensor, which proves the advantage of this design. And then, on this basis, this paper describes the main control system architecture, the basic flow of the steering control and data transfer method between the control terminal and the smart phone. This paper also describes the implementation and results of this method and proves the design's feasibility and correctness.
