In this paper, we propose a new algorithm to evaluate the authority of the users in micro-blog. The new algorithm is based on two concepts we come up: Relative Importance and User's Activeness. The first concept is based on the social network structure of every micro-blog user. And the second is based on the quantity of the micro-blogs that one user sent, the more he sent, the higher the activeness will be. Experimental result shows that the improved algorithm can evaluate the authority of the micro-blog users far more reasonable than the traditional algorithms.
