We propose a scheme to implement the swap gate and the phase gate, in which N identical atoms are respectively trapped in N separated cavities connected by optical fibers. In addition, using the phase gate which we generate, we can realize an N-qubit cluster state. Our scheme is very helpful for realizing the transfer of the information in the quantum network and future scalable computing networks.
