The complex boundary of traditional curvilinear element is described by the interpolation nodes and shape basic functions, and then the interpolation precision of element boundary depends seriously on the number of nodes and order of shape basic functions. For the sake of approaching the complex boundary accurately, a high precision interpolation scheme of curvilinear element boundary is presented based on the Non-Uniform Rational B-Splines (NURBS) in this work. According to the nodes geometric information of element, the very precise interpolation boundary can be obtained in this scheme. Some numerical experiments show the precision and availability of this interpolation scheme.
