This paper proposes a 1st order analytical model describing the effects of deterministic jitter on digital-to-analogue converters (DACs). By considering the 1st order settling process, this model analytically reconstructs the spectrum of the output of a DAC that is loaded with R-C and sampled by a deterministically jittered clock. As verified by MATLAB, the proposed model provides a fast way to calculate the spectrum of deterministic jitter with good accuracy.
