In order to use the wind resources reasonable and reduce the wake effects on wind turbine performance.The aerodynamic interaction between two turbines in both co-axial and stagger arrangement was simulated using the Fluent.Putting forward suggestions to the optimization of wind farm layout.The results show that downstream turbine makes the upstream diverging wake to be convergence when co-axial wind conditions, and the output of downstream turbine is affected by upstream wake when the spacing is less than 5D.The wake field become more diffused after pass the downstream turbine ,and the area of diverging wake become larger than the wake of upstream turbine mainly due to the increase of turbulence intensity. The greater fatigue load impact on the downstream turbine .Due to flow field were extruding by the wake effect of the reference turbine when stagger arrangement wind conditions,the interface of wake has a complex velocity field.
