A Q-switched fiber laser based graphene saturable absorber and the multi-mode fiber facet had been demonstrated. Such Q-switched laser has a large output pulse energy of ~ 157.9 nJ with the pump power of 301 mW, and repletion rate tuning from ~80 to ~141 KHz. It could be a simple, low-cost and high power light source for material producing, metrology, and biomedical diagnostics.
