Research-based teaching in improving students' investigation ability plays an important role, which has become one of the hot issues of teaching in education reform. In this paper, on the basis of analyzing the connotation of research-based teaching, combined with the teaching practice and discussed the research-based teaching carried out in colleges and universities, so that we put forward methods and measures to improve colleges and universities students' investigation ability.
